The secret lies in the bio-based polyethylene (PE), which is derived from the rapidly renewable and sustainable source: sugar cane. This by-product of the food industry is thus put to meaningful use instead of ending up as waste.

In a special process, the sugar cane is first converted into ethanol and then processed into polyethylene pellets. These pellets form the basis for our high-performance Bios material.
